Entering the Temple – Transferkunst on acrylic glass by Susanne Rikus
Art for Meaningful Spaces

Art that gives a place its identity.

Original works for practices, retreats, hotels and architecture – chosen with the artist.

A room is never neutral.

For more than three decades Susanne Rikus has worked with colour, light and space – as a painter, as the founder of her own gallery in Berlin-Mitte and as a Dipl.-Ing. Architektur (FH). Her originals bring colour, nature and cultural memory into places where people wait, gather, rest or work: as works of art with their own story, never as decoration.

Every work shown here is a unique original from her archive, with its title, technique, size and price. Each has a page of its own, many with the story of how it came to be.

Practices and healthcare spaces

Hawaiian landscapes, volcanic earth and island flowers give waiting areas and consulting rooms a calm point of focus. We help you choose formats and motifs that suit the room and the people who spend time in it.

Retreat centres and seminar houses

Works about nature, home and the meeting of opposites – Rainbow Falls, painted with song and movement across three metres of canvas; Hawaiian Home, the artist’s cottage in the Wailua Valley; Duality Meets Oneness, painted at Schloss Corvey. Each comes with its own story, told in her words.

Boutique hotels and hospitality

Paintings with a strong sense of place – Kauaʻi and Sardinia – and a story behind each one that can be shared with guests. Originals rather than prints give a house its own identity.

Architecture and interior design

Trained as an architect (Dipl.-Ing. Architektur (FH)), Susanne Rikus thinks in proportions and light. Transferkunst on acrylic glass can be shown with or without backlighting; large formats reach 200 × 300 cm. A portfolio with dimensions and prices is available for planners.

Private and corporate collections

Significant works with a documented story, provenance from the artist’s catalogued archive and a signed certificate of authenticity.
